Houmous Pitta Pizzas


  • 1 Wholemeal Pitta Bread
  • 3 Heaped tbsp Houmous 
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 6 Asparagus Stalks
  • 1/2 Small Red Onion Finely Chopped
  • Handful of Chopped Cherry Tomatoes
  • Pinch of Salt & Crushed Black Pepper
  • Fresh Basil Leaves


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C
  • Drizzle a small dollop of olive oil on a pan to place the pittas on
  • Slice the pittas in half then cover the base in houmous, then sprinkle the oregano
  • Assemble the asparagus, red onion & Tomatoes veggies, sprinkle fresh basil, salt and pepper on top of the pittas
  • Place in oven for 10 minutes, leave in a few minutes longer if you prefer more of a crisp to your veggies
  • Enjoy!
