Vanilla Oats With Maple Toasted Buckwheat


  • 1/2 Cup Oats
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Cup of Almond Milk (Oat or Coconut Milk Will Also Work)
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Paste (Extract Will Substitute)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon 
  • 1/4 Cup Raw Buckwheat Groats
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup

To Top 

  • 3 Strawberries 
  • Handful of Pomegranate Seeds
  • Dried Raspberries 


  • Place the oats, chia seeds, cinnamon and vanilla paste in a bowl then stir in the almond milk. Give it a good mix and leave in the fridge overnight
  • In the morning place a small pan on a medium heat and add he buckwheat groats with a tbsp of maple syrup and allow to toast for around 4-5 minutes 
  • In the morning give the oats a stir and place in the microwave for around 30 seconds. If you wish it warmer keep blasting for a few seconds at a time (I only like mine luke warm)
  • Slice the strawberries and assemble your toppings, sprinkle the maple buckwheat and enjoy!
